During times when my family gets together and celebrates any special occasion, our food ways are the same as any other day, except we go more out.
In my family the women are the ones who always cook. The wake up in the morning and they already starting the dishes. Depending on what they are making and the amount of people, they could stay in da kitchen for about half the day or more. Usually the teens , such as myself, set the table. If there is not enough room in the dining room we bring more chairs, or we all sit in the living room in chairs or on the couch. Sometimes we will all listen to what one person is saying but we usually drift into our own small groups and talk, occasionally switching up or adding to the people we are talking to.
When my mom and my little sister and I have dinner everyday, things go almost the same. My mom cooks and I help as much as I can, I set the table and we sit down. We talk about how our day went, what were planning, anything that really comes up.
I guess my families food ways are different from the American food ways. These ways seem to be done in a mner in which fmailes don't really share much, they don't even sit togeather and talk, and if they do its because they have not, not want to. It seems that the American food ways also consist of foods that aren't necessarily healthy, such as fast food, and lack of culture. You eat food that could be considered bland, with no real flavors like other cultures.
Personally I prefer my families food ways. I think the food is soo much tastier, and its just the right thing to do, sitting with your family and having conversations that make you feel like your being understood and loved. Sitting with my family and having them listen many times an make us feel like those around us are really there for us.I would raise my kids with the same food ways as my family, not the American way.

Question and Answer
Is being a Vegetarian actually healthy?
A vegetarians diet needs to be carefully planned out in order to make sure he/she is getting enough nutrients. A vegetarian is someone who does not eat meat.It is shown that vegetarian food are a major source of nutrition for most people in the world. Vegetarians have lower rates of heart disease and some form of cancer. They are also at lower risk of diabetes, obesity, and high blood pressure. They're also lower than nonvegetarian diets in total fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol. This is because a vegetarian diet is low on fat and high in fiber. Many people who eat meat have much higher rates of cancer than vegetarians. Cancer and cardiovascular diseases are linked to diets with a high amount of saturated fat and with a low amount of fiber. Animal products have lots of salt, which causes the blood to retain water and can cause plaque to build up in a persons arteries.

Essay draft one
Morals are taught by those around us such as, parents, society etc. These are things that we consider " the right thing to do." Many times when talking about morals we think about helping others and how doing a certain thing will help or affect those around us. We aim to have a positive outcome.
In class we studied Kohlbergs Scale of Moral Development. We were asked if we would steal the only cure for a disease that will kill our loved one in a day, based on our answers the scale would tell us what we based our answers on and at what stage of morals that puts us. This scale has a total of 6 stages. The first two being pre-conventional, meaning that we do as we are told. Such as basing our decision on why stealing the cure would be wrong. The last two stages being the highest meaning that we based out answers on more universal thoughts, such as our rights and social contract. These are post conventional.
We can say that morality is complicated, we have to follow different obligations at the same time. We are told on thing, but most do another, so what do we follow? How do we know what really is moral? I believe that moral unhealthiness can lead to being emotionally unhealthy, and vice versa. Not being able to follow our morals can lead us to not being happy with ourselves. Maybe even the difficulty of trying to figure out which morals to follow, or which you believe in can lead us to emotional unhealthy.

Break Homework
Over the break I realized that the days in which I would stay home I felt unhappy, bored, many negative feelings that made me feel as though I was emotionally unhealthy. Monday of vacation I was stuck home cleaning, as I was doing this I felt very lazy and a bit angry that I was stuck home, once my room was clean though, I felt better. It made me feel as though I had accomplished something good. The rest of the week I spent out, doing things, hanging out, while this was happening I felt much better than that day that I was stuck home. I would go walk around a lot, which made me feel healthy. It felt nice to have that fresh air and just see everyone with a smile on their face enjoying the weather, feeling as though you truly have no worries, that made me happy. I guess it is true that many times when your outside it brings ur emotional health up. Even if it is to just take a walk it helps calm me down and think better about things.
Emotional health and being constantly happy is not the same thing, but they do affect each other. If you are constantly happy your emotional health can increase or get better. On the other hand if you are constantly sad ur emotional health is not gonna be on its best. It could be said that one can tell you about the other. Being constantly happy though, can not always say your emotional health is good. It could still mean that your emotionally unhealthy. You can be trying to hide all your true feelings behind a happy smile, but that is just as bad for you, keeping it all bottled in.

Emotional health stories
Emotionally unhealthy person:
Today is dragging on, its feels as though I've been in school for years....why is school not over yet?? How I hate Wednesdays!!! They go on forever. There goes da bell, just one more period left. I slowly get up and drag myself to the next class, the last one for the day, but da most hated by me, gym. I'm just gonna sit alone in the corner and listen to my music. Once its done I drag myself to the elevator and take it down to the first floor...now the journey home awaits me.
Emotionaly healthy person:
I sit in class happily awaiting the next period, gym. I finally get to get out of these seat and stretch and maybe even play some sports with my friends, its gonna be so much fun. I had lunch already and I had the yummiest fruit salad with a bottle of water. My class is almost done so I start chatting away with my friends about our plan for the weekend. The bell rings and we all go to gym, stretch alittle and play volleyball. The match is over, ends up in a tie and we take da stairs down to the first floor, the school day is over but I'm gonna go hangout for a bit until I have to go home.

Transpersonal Therapy
Transpersonal Therapy:
Transpersonal Therapy has to do with the Essence of Self. It is a from of Psychotherapy. "Transpersonal" comes from the Latin "trans" meaning beyond and through, and "persona" meaning mask or personality. It focuses on seeking to reveal the person behind the personality. During the therapy, the therapist recognize that he/she is equal to the client, on the level of pure consciousness, there is no separation between them. The therapist is not in a higher position to the client, and listens with suspended judgment and an attitude of respect. Even though both the therapist and client have their own thoughts and beliefs and feelings, their experiences cannot be separate. The consciousness of one has a direct impact on the consciousness of the other. In that shared consciousness it is where empathy and insight can take place for both therapist and client.
